If it saves just one life then we have to act.
That’s the mantra of anti-gun advocates as they push for more gun control laws, which, by all logic, tell us will do nothing to stop violent crime.
However, the pushback is always, well, if we can save just one life.
By that logic, the country we live in would be a very different place if we applied this gun control way of thinking to other aspects of our lives.
There is NO QUESTION if we did the following things, we would save some lives. More Americans would stay alive each year. These might be considered “infringements” on your basic rights, but they’re only “common sense” restrictions, right (yes, I know how ridiculous that sounds)?
