Ammunition Eligibility Certificate

With an announcement of sweeping proposals to curb gun violence, Connecticut lawmakers said they are hoping to send a message to Congress and other state legislators across the country: A bipartisan agreement on gun control is possible.

Legislative leaders on Monday revealed proposals spurred by the Dec. 14 Newtown school shooting following weeks of bipartisan, closed-door negotiations. A vote is expected Wednesday in the General Assembly, where Democrats control both chambers, making passage all but assured.

“Democrats and Republicans were able to come to an agreement on a strong, comprehensive bill,” said Senate President Donald E. Williams Jr., a Democrat from Brooklyn, who called the proposed legislation the strongest, most comprehensive bill in the country. “That is a message that should resound in 49 other states and in Washington, D.C. And the message is: We can get it done here and they should get it done in their respective states and nationally in Congress.”

Refuse to play by these rules. We need to send a message that we will not follow these anti-Patriotic anti-American and anti-Consitutiion orders. What part of “WIll Not Be Infringed” do the DemocRATS not understand???

I have a shocking simple solution to all this gun control garbage. Just enforce the laws on the books and quit wasting time with meaningless new laws.

So true. But that’s not the real agenda! They want confiscation. The regressive demonizercrats can simply dominate all United State Citizens after they complete the real agenda!!

Gun control laws aren’t meant to make this a safer world. They are meant to control who owns guns. Eventually they will try to confiscate all weapons from private ownership. When are the American people going to get out of the stupor they are in and wake up?

Time to become the outlaw they’re trying to eliminate. I will not capitulate to the governments demands for registration. I’ve got thousands of rounds saved up and buy more every payday. I’ll have upward of 10k by the end of the summer, so screw the fed, screw Owevomit and his demoncrap henchmen

Same here, I already have 10,000 rounds and am buying reloading equipment. I will cast my own bullets and make my own powder if needs be, these freaks will not take away my life or liberty.

Notice the larger article (at the link, above) mentioned someone who said words to the effect that “It’s not everything we want. We’ll be back for more.”

Dang government rules and regulations are always the same: get some, get some more, eventually get it all. When are the people going to wake up to this bait and switch political tyranny? What will it take to wake them up … a nuclear holocaust? Are they so stuporous in front of ‘American Idol’ or ‘Honey Boo Boo’ or ‘Dance Your Pants Off’ that they can’t see their lives in jeopardy?

What these ludicrous new Gun and Ammo Grab laws will do is the same as what illegal cannabis has done for the drug cartels and we all know, “Business is booming” for them. Connecticut gun owners are simply NOT going to buy in their home state and will go elsewhere. It could be anticipated that the many Connecticut based gun manufacturers will relocate to friendlier environs too, taking their state taxes with them. Magpul (a magazine mfgr.) may do that very thing in Colorado. It’s called “unintended consequences.” That’s something these reactive politician sheeple don’t understand when they criminalize law abiding citizens. The saddest part is that these laws will not improve schoolhouse safety either. The next mass murder in Connecticut will poignantly illustrate that.

No matter what we do at this point, it is so obvious that “someone” is not paying attention. I took an oath many years ago as many of you also did; ” I (name) swear to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and will defend the Constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic so help me God”. I feel the my heart beat faster when I reflect on that oath. I did not take it lightly then, nor DO I now!!!!

If they are voting a bill into law that is going against the 2nd. Amendment, then it is not worth the paper that it is written on. You people just don’t get it do you. You can not just pass a law that takes away the right of the 2nd. Amendment. It shall not be infringed upon. Period…

We should be cautious about using numbers to describe how much ammo we may or may not have. Many of our conversations go to the little room where the headphone jockeys could be listening. We should prepare and try to keep specific info under wraps. Should the worst happen, God forbid, we may all have the time to move a few things of importance. I pray for us all that we will have the strength to the necessary. May God Bless us all………

It is very dangerous to let people with no understanding of firearms make laws regulating them. All gun control laws only affect honest citizens and will have no impact on criminal use at all. There will always be a black market of guns and ammunition for criminals. All gun control laws are illegal and a direct violation of our rights as US citizens. Swift justice and harsh punishment is the best solution; a quick trial and public execution. We don’t need to wait years and spend millions on criminal prosecutions. The Fort Hood shooter should have ben shot or hanged within 10 days. There is no chance of mistaken identity, he killed many people and deserves to die.

The Fort Hood shooter should have been hanging from the gallows on the white house lawn or in front of the firing squad within 2 hours of the shooting. If Regan was President when this happened he would have been. Since our current Kommissar in chief is a mooslime sympathizer, he got off with “work place violence”.

If ignorance was worth money, these legislators would be as wealthy as G. Soros. No young person is suppose to be able to purchase alcoholic beverages but look at the number of teens who are drinking daily? If the bag guy wants it, he/she will get it. Enforce the laws now in effect. Make crimes using guns involve more punishment and a more humiliating punishment than going to a “gray bar hotel” with TV, Exercise rooms, and the like. Literal Chain gangs doing the work of cleaning up our highways and cutting the grass along them. Let them ware distinctive clothing like the old black & white striped suits, or Pink and white ones. Make the punishment humiliating as well as involving them in a psychiatric rehab program.

A permit to purchase ammo? We know the black market is going to flurish and the criminals I am sure will not buy a permit.
