Bank of America Freezes Gun Manufacturer’s Account, Company Owner Claims

Bank of America has reportedly frozen the account of gun manufacturer American Spirit Arms, according to its owner, Joe Sirochman.

In a Facebook post dated December 29, Sirochman wrote the following:

“My name is Joe Sirochman owner of American Spirit Arms…our Web site orders have jumped 500 percent causing our Web site e-commerce processing larger deposits to Bank of America. So they decided to hold the deposits for further review.

“After countless hours on the phone with Bank of America, I finally got a manager in the right department that told me the reason that the deposits were on hold for further review — her exact words were — ‘We believe you should not be selling guns and parts on the Internet.’”(emphasis added)

Time for the gun manufacturer to firmly tell BOA that he is withdrawing all of his money and closing his accounts, and if BOA refuses to return his money, they will be sued. Sounds like a crazy idea on BOA’s part. They can refuse to have him as a customer (which is stupid), but they can’t keep his money as he owns it. I hate BOA anyways, they are nasty!

The first thing I would do when the bank opened in the morning is going in and close out my account.
Who needs the former “Bank of Italy” i.e. Mafia run. That’s what it used to be called before being renamed Bank of America. mary711

Since when does a company/bank, have the right to tell a private industry where they can sell their product? just something for everyone to think about.

Bank Of America is the poorest excuse for a bank there is , giving FREE checking accounts to illegal’s and now this. It seems to me they took stimulus money.
