Global warming: Lots of concern, but how about a solution?

Global warming: Lots of concern, but how about a solution?

Let’s get one thing out of the way immediately: It doesn’t matter if you believe in global warming or not. It doesn’t matter if you think the climate is changing due to man-made pollution or if you believe weather patterns are always in a state of flux and we’re just in a cycle of some kind. None of this matters. What matters is what pollution is doing to the environment from an outdoorsman’s point of view and whether it’s good or bad and what needs to be done to fix it if it needs fixing.

In the past few years I have read some well written articles on why global climate change is bad. I have also read some outstanding pieces on why global warming is fiction being concocted by Chicken Little environmentalists with an agenda. There are countless opinions from both sides of this fence that outlines the problems, but no one seems to have any solutions.

Solutions to what? What it comes down to is pollution. The acid rains that wiped out lakes and forest all over the northeast was a direct result of man-made pollution: sulfur d being pumped nonstop into the atmosphere from coal-fired energy plants. And what about all that methane? Cows and pigs spewing methane gas into the atmosphere, warming things up and killing fish as well as trees. According to a lot of reports there are just too many people on this planet, and this is negatively affecting the balance we thought we once had with nature. We can howl and cry all we want, but at some point we need solutions.

How can you have a solution for something that doesn’t exist?

    Come on people, wake up!

That is what we have government and the UN for. If you have a solution without a problem, you concoct a problem, hence global warming or whatever they want to call it. If all those cows would stop producing all that methane gas, the problem would be solved, right? Though Obama would prefer to bankrupt us with all his green projects to make his contributors wealthy and don’t think that will change. Congress needs to get some guts and shut this dictator down — no matter what it takes now that the liberal welfare states have reelected him.

My dear fellow, man-made pollution–all of it–amounts to 3 percent worldwide. It DOES matter if some folks continue to be bamboozled by global climate hysterics. I know you must have studied Agenda 21, if not, please do so. Journalists have a responsibility to help after we get rid of what’s his name in the WH.

Global “warming” stopped a decade or so back;; the only reason things LOOKED different this summer has to do with the VERY ACTIVE “heater” operating in our solar system; it’s called the SUN! It’s at the peak of it’s usual eleven year cycle of activity now! As for the rest, CLIMATE CHANGE is the NORM for our planet; it’s been doing so as long as it’s existed! WE aren’t causing it, and we can’t stop or change that fact, so why are we wasting time, energy, and money in the effort? Better to keep that for controlling pollution, which we DO cause and have some control over! For those on the left, kindly learn the difference and get it straight?

anyone who is falling for this, isnt paying attention, the Sun is extremely active with Solar flares and sun spots, and if you learned much from school you learned the SUN produces more energy on earth in ONE day, than MAN uses in a year……..and you think MAN is making much of a dent on it? , I also want ANY self proclaimed Pro Climate Change guru to show ME, how a trace gas (CO2), in a concentration of 390 Parts per Million, is making ANY significant changes in atmospheric temps…….ya cant, it’s that simple, I’ll debate ANYONE on this subject,…..bring it…

The dormant Mt. St. Helens puts out more greenhouse gasses than every cow, pig, liberal and SUV on the planet. Your argument is invalid.
