On Guns, Cars and Distracted Drivers

As Phil and I have noted, we’re doing a series of radio interviews to promote “The Total Gun Manual” which, I understand, may get us a Nobel Prize. (If Barack Obama can get a Nobel for doing absolutely nothing, why shouldn’t we collect one for putting out the greatest gun book ever written?) Most of the talk-show hosts I’ve encountered have been completely ignorant about guns, and admitted it, and did good interviews. However, along the way I’ve gotten some odd questions, and a couple of hostile ones. Some examples:

Have I ever shot anyone? (No, just unlucky I guess.)

Am I armed, right now, this minute? (No. The most dangerous thing in the vicinity is the cat, who is in his morning coma.)

Most of the people on radio are uninformed and are liberal in there thinking. I found a radio show in the last month on called the “Patriot Report” hosted by Dr. Michael Williams. This show really informs us Conservatives and Patriots. Great show Dr. Williams. Loved this weeks show.

After reading the rest of this fine article, one poster said that there are 30,000 gun deaths annually and 40,000 auto deaths annually. I believe that many, if not most, of the gun deaths are probaply Gang Related ( One Gangsta’ shooting another Gangsta’ ) and if this continues, that problem will solve itself. However, with all of the destracted drivers, short attention-span drivers, texting / phoning / / drivers out there, the death rate on our highways will probably Insrease. Problem is that these drivers will sometimes kill a “good ” driver and not themselves. Short attention span ? – Take the bus !

Thank GOD for the 2nd Amendment, the NRA, and a gun toting Granny. Senior Citizens are VG w/ a gun because there is more time to practice. You can be sure that we hit what we aim at. My family are all hunters and have a right to carry license. This great-grandma is an A+ skeet shooter, it keeps us on our toes. We hit the moving targets.
