Bank of America Refusing Buisness that Support the 2nd Amendment

McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, McMillan Firearms Manufacturing and McMillan Group International have been collectively banking with Bank of America for 12 years.

Today Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, Market Manager, Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking came to my office. He scheduled the meeting as an “account analysis” meeting in order to evaluate the two lines of credit we have with them. He spent 5 minutes talking about how McMillan has changed in the last 5 years and have become more of a firearms manufacturer than a supplier of accessories.

At this point I interrupted him and asked “Can I possible save you some time so that you don’t waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer what my business.”

“That is correct” he says.

    Bank of America has become a very confused, strange operation.  I’m not sure they have any idea what they are doing and to which master they must obey – the Obama administration or their customers. 

    It would make sense to find other banking service providers until they figure out that serving their customers is the only way to long term success.  To that end, I’m ending my relationship with BofA!

      I have been frustrated with Bank of America for a while but this puts the icing on the cake. I’m closing my account with them!

      Good post – I am doing the same with BofA!  I’ll also end other frustrations I have had with them… What a way to run a bank!  Sheesh!

    If every red blooded American out there that has an account with Bank of America closed that account and told them why they were closing it, I bet they would change their tune.  .  .  I make mental notes and once these places reveal themselves to be UnAmerican, I don’t care how much they apologize, I’ll never go back.  .   .  The Homo Depot is another one along with GE.  .  .

    Wasn’t it true Bank of America owes its roots to banks in Italy; and they changed their name to be more presentable to the American public by using the word - ”America? I do know this Bank of American doesn’t want to do business with the public at large and desires only to work with businesses; banking with them otherwise is an inconvenience to them they have to endure…I stopped using them years ago after a set pattern that after every two years of banking with them problems would arise, over and over and over until one day I marked on a calendar this will be the date I will start having problems again…sure enough.

       Bank of America was originally founded as the Bank of Italy by A P Geanine (spelling may be wrong) and in the late 30′s changed their name to Bank of America because of the sentiment against the Italians and what was going on in Europe with Hitler and Germany. This I know as I used to draw on the old letterhead that my father brought home after the name change. Apple Jack

       Instead of cutting it up just do not use it. The bank will still have to send out statements which will cost them and their stockholders money. In addition it could effect your overall credit score with you closing the account. Apple Jack

    There is no Bank of America in my home town.. if there was I would open an account just to close it in protest to their stupidity.  They need to change their name to Bank of OBAMA..

    BofA needs the good will of the government. It needs the lines of credit, the too-big-to-fail standing. This means that whatever government wants of BofA, government gets.

    This is the worst of banks in every area.  They have been the leader in new fees, denier of small business, and managers that are like rats.  Block them were you can.  They are not worthy of doing business with you. Truly modern day gangsters.

    I closed out seven accounts my company had with BofA.  I did this because, along with charging us more for interest on loans, than they charged others, BofA was also denying us the right to access our funds, when we needed access.  It transferring some of those accounts to another bank, (one not affiliated with BofA), it took a direct order by a Federal Judge, before BofA would release funds they claimed were paid to us erroneously.  ????  Those funds were interest payments made by BofA to funds we had in money-market accounts with BofA.
    We now have our accounts safely secured in the Bank of Singapore, (Singapore), which treats us like old friends.  We like doing business with banks which handle accounts like this.

    This “BANK” was also the first bank to allow illegal aliens to open accounts with NO identification.
    Past time to refuse to do business with them.
    I closed my account YEARS ago because of their practices.

    I use my BofA credit card everytime I buy gas…. guess that ends now.  I had over $10,000 on my BoA credit card – it’s down to almost zero now…as soon as it’s paid off, I’m done!

    I have just withdrawn two savings accounts from BofA.  To those in agreement w/the Second Amendment of our US Constitution, It is your choice, but personally, I want nothing to do with them ever again.  AND…..when the innocent little clerk asks WHY I am closing these accounts (rather sizable amounts, too!) I shall ask for her supervisor and hit ‘em w/the truth.  R U sure it’s the Bank of AMERICA????  Sounds like Bank of Obama to me!.

    I think BofA used to be Bank of Italy.  Changed when WWII broke out and the Fascists ran that country.  Of course fascists believe like liberals, they believe nobody needs a gun.  That makes it safer for them to steal your stuff.

    My son, whose small business used to rely on BOA for financing, now calls them the ‘bank of no’ because of their attitude towards small business owners and their business needs. He has told me that he knows of many other small businesspeople who were once customers of BOA and now refuse to do business with them anymore because of their attitude towards them. With any luck, BOA will tank and be taken over by someone else who actually has an interest in small businesses and their success.  Huntington Bank, for example, has been very small business friendly and hopefully, McMillan can find another and better bank to do business with. Personally, I got rid of my BOA credit cards.

    I haven’t read a post on here about bail-out money our tax dollars given to these jerks $20,000,000,000 thats twenty billion dollars lump sum and $100,000,000,000 one hundred billion in toxic loans set aside, if and when they should need it, well could this have something to do with it? This is how it went down, hello Bank America this is Obama i need you guys to put the squeeze on McMillan Firearms that one hundred billion we have set aside for you, it’s yours, but we have some more companies you have to help us with, we have other banks that are working with us,you ask what about the ones that wont work with us? well we can simply shut them down.This bailout money was given to them in 2009 banks dont get rid of customers like McMillan they care about money and you can bet they were threatend bought or both thats the only logical answer we know they were bought when this administration gave them twenty billion with another one hundred billion on hold if they ever needed it, Obama and his merry thugs are behind this plain and simple.
