Connecticut Gun Owners: “Come and Get Them!”

Connecticut Carry calls on every State official, every Senator, and every Representative, to make the singular decision: Either enforce the laws as they are written and let us fight it out in court, or repeal the 2013 Gun Ban in its entirety.
Check it out:

Connecticut gun owners are calling the state’s anti-gun bluff. The state recently passed a slew of anti-gun legislation, including a gun registration program for so called “assault rifles” that has been received with less enthusiasm than Obamacare. In fact, many gun owners in Connecticut have elected to ignore the patently unconstitutional law in the same way that Millennials have ignored the IRS requirement for health insurance. And now, as the state issues threatening letters and increased confiscation rhetoric, citizens are telling the state: “Come and take them.”

Lawmakers in Connecticut have already threatened current gun owners with confiscation in accordance with the new regulation requirements. And despite a fraction of state gun owners deciding to comply with intrusive registration requirements, the Governor has accelerated his anti-gun rhetoric. (Colorado voters decided to hold recall elections… Connecticut gun owners have decided to take the Barack Obama approach: Ignore inconvenient laws.) Letters have been sent to “known gun owners” demanding registration, or the surrender of their “assault weapons”. The birth place of the Constitution, it turns out, is still home to armed students of human liberty.

Yup it sux huge to be in MD. That’s why I’m moving to VA. OC and CCW is legal. VA respects the US Constitution. Not like the rest of these bleeding heart liberal nanny states.

The new police chief in Detroit spent years in CA as a police chief, where they where very anti gun, then he moved to Portland Maine, where he said everyone was armed and it was one of the safest places in the country; this is what totally changed his mind about the relationship between gun control and safety. This is just the kink of police chief that was needed in Detroit.

I guess that is one way to deal with tyrants. I think they at least should be jailed for violating the Constitution. Perhaps they could be charged with treason. They need to understand that there are consequences for their actions.

Hang in there Connecticut gun owners. We legal. lawful gun owners from California salute you for your bravery in practicing your Second Amendment rights. In California we have our share of gun take away politicians and zealots who have too much time on their hands and have to come up with laws to further control our lives while the state is being given away piece by piece to people who have no respect for our immigration laws and think they have the right to be rewarded with entitlements.

Again, the law abiding gun owners of Ct called the states bluff, now the state is trying to regroup and are tripping all over themselves. Stay focused, stay united, the constitution is on your side, the real law breakers are those whom force illegal laws upon the law abiding.

I’m afraid this isn’t going to end in a good way. Either the state will FORCE compliance, or the gun owners will start an armed conflict. We may be having another revolution.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT OBAMA AND HOLDER WANT! I say, bring it on! With over 100 million private gun owners in this country, we have the largest, armed militia in the entire world.
We may have to use our numbers to curb this assault on our Constitutional Rights, but, we have had to do it before, and we won that time. And we can win this fight if we are one large unified group.

1775-THE LEXINGTON ALARM The first battle of the Revolutionary War, fought in Massachusetts on April 19, 1775. British troops had moved from Boston toward Lexington and Concord to seize the colonists’ military supplies and arrest revolutionaries. In Concord, advancing British troops met resistance from the Minutemen, and American volunteers harassed the retreating British troops along the Concord-Lexington Road. Paul Revere, on his famous ride, had first alerted the Americans to the British movement. When the British troops, after a night of marching, reached the village of Lexington, they saw through the early morning mist a grim band of 50 minutemen-armed colonists-lined up across the common. There was a moment of hesitation, cries and orders from both sides and, in the midst of the noise, a shot. Firing broke out along both lines, and the Americans dispersed, leaving eight of their dead upon the green. The first blood of the war for American independence had been shed.

The British pushed on to Concord, where the “embattled farmers” at North Bridge “fired the shot heard round the world.” Their purpose partly accomplished, the British force began the return march. All along the road, behind stone walls, hillocks, and houses militiamen from village and farm made targets of the bright red costs of the British soldiers. By the time the weary column stumbled into Boston its losses totaled nearly three times those sustained by the colonists

    • jag57

My paternal ancestors landed on the east coast when they came here from the UK; the first that died here, died in Massachusetts. I had a direct ancestor that was in the Revolutionary War. Now, I have a question that no one seems to have an answer to; since our Republic was born in what are now these anti freedom states, how can that be? This makes as much sense as the National Socialist Jews we have in Congress; how after Hitler gassed and cremated 6 million Jews, and any Jew with a brain be anti gun. The worst Hitler ideologues, are Schumer, Durban, and Feinstein, and I don’t even know if Durban is a Jew. What I have found with Jews, there isn’t any half way, they are either 100% pro gun, or like Hitler.

      • mossbergman

they should be pro gun Hitler disarmed his society ,it’s the only way that kind of pwr can run wild

  • jstarusa

Let me get this straight, “known gun owners” to me would indicate some form of registration when they got their gun to begin with! What now? Register again? Maybe Im missing something here.

    • RLM357

MAYBE, just maybe they never destroyed the original list or the many questionaires given our kids and in Hospitals like the VA, that have been used to provide that information, just as predicted. I told them at my VA that it was “None of their D— Business !” if I owned or possessed a gun. This had nothing to do with my issue =(E-fib). One of the Sr. med persons in the room, just grinned and said “that’s what they all reply”(in agreement). ‘BUT they were required to ask the question’ but would not say by whom. Like I didn’t know??. Yeah right ! ~Rick Magee, “MOLON LABE”

Having lived in CT for many years, I find this appalling. I spent many days in most of the (now gone) firearms Mfg’s. Just a few – – – Marlin, Mossberg, Colt, Remington, Winchester, Ruger, Hi Standard – etc etc. This state used to be the home of the firearms industry, dating back to the revolution (the 1st one). Guess how many thousands of employees of these companies are in the records? How many of them “might have weapons”? Great picking grounds.
My Lady friend’s dad worked for Remington in B’port CT when he returned from WW!!, and was an avid owner, collector, and shooter. After passing away a few years ago, My GF became the owner of his collection. Last year, we moved them out of state to a gun friendly state. Otherwise, she’d have had to register ($$) each of them, and make her property open to searches and seizures.
Now, they can come visit me, and try. Key word, TRY………

Connecticut Gun Owners stick to your rights their playing games to see if you will give in you have every other honest law abiding gun owners in the USA to back you up, the government is what we vote for so on the next election vote very wisely, whom ever is pro-gun.

  • Proud US vet/American

This is becoming the “norm” rather than the exception! American Patriots arise! Gun confiscation is only the beginning. It is time to make a physical stand against this “socialist” regime. Gun owners need to march on every State capital with their firearms and demand their rights of the 2nd Amendment be left alone now!! Once someone starts this movement, it will snowball and the “leftist’s” will have to listen or make their choice to take our arms. If Paul Revere were here today, his rally cry would be, “The Commies are coming, the Commies are coming!” Patriots of America, don’t let this happen, stand together as one unified force, and if necessary, fight against the loss of our Constitutional Rights!

It has to start somewhere. So was the Shot heard round the World. Isn’t it amazing how History repeatys itself ? I have my ammo and I am sure you all do too. Now, on what side are the Police? In the past they were on the side of the Peacekeepers. They are ALL sworn to protect and follow the Constitution and Laws of their State ( Conundrum and therein lies the problem) and the Laws of the USA. ( tell that to Obama and his immigration Department ) Nuremberg taught us that WE were under no obligation to follow an Unlawful (Unconstitutional) Order ! In fact it was alleged to be OUR DUTY to REFUSE to follow such a law or in this CASE also an Order, if in fact one is ever ordered. Personally I doubt that one will be issued before it is repealed. No Question that the 2nd Amendment TRUMPS State laws in this regard. So there is No further Question. E Pluribus Unum. In One many. ( In many ..one) Either was you translat it, verbal inflexion matters. There is also another famous saying…” sic semper tyrannis !” ~ Thus ever to Tyrants ! The immortal words alleged to have been uttered or shouted by John Wilkes Boothe. ~Rick magee, “MOLON LABE”

    • jag57

God’s law, which is the right to defend ourselves, our families, and property, is enshrined in our 2nd amendment.

  • Steve

Hope the Gestapo….err State police will make sure that their families are provided for before they start.

  • Doski

When Tyrants send Armed Men to our doors it becomes our duty to likewise respond with equal to or greater than intent and passion !

In the mean time I suggest one acquires the addresses of such Tyrants and . . . briefly gather in small peaceable groups outside their residents. Stay on public property and rotate groups visiting those locations. One may choose to wear their camouflage hunting apparel or black at night or white if snow is covering the ground. Be quite and respectful of their neighbors. Remember that a perceived threat without evidence of actual action is simply paranoia. Let them squirm and shake as you exercise your right to peacefully assemble on public property.

  • steve

The gun owners should go get the politicians that voted for this and force them from office at gun point and use the guns if they have to. This will settle it once and for all. I will even come up there to help you. I live in MO. Come on LIBS that read this…turn me in to the DHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Chiweenie

Before a standing army can rule, the people must be
disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe.
The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws
by the sword; because the whole body of the people are
armed, and constitute a force superior to any bands
of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised
in the United States. A military force, at the command
of Congress, can execute no laws, but such as the people
perceive to be just and constitutional; for they will
possess the power, and jealousy will instantly inspire
the inclination, to resist the execution of a law which
appears to them unjust and oppressive.

    —-Noah Webster

Way to go gun owners of Connecticut do the same thing that Colorado did re-call those gun grabbing Communist elected officials and get rid of them ! The name “Communist” was derived from the word “Democrat” Just look at self proclaimed Communist Nancy Pelosi !

Sad it has come to this but someone will start the shooting and every law abiding gun owner will have to make a decision whether to shoot and maybe die to protect the second amendment. If they start it we need to make it costly for them. How many can you take with you ? I will say it again -Sad situation .

  • Don’tTreadonUs

We salute you Connecticut gun owners and we stand by your side.

  • Daniel Gray

Ok…one more time. Title 18 USC section 926 makes this a federal felony if this list can in any way at any time be used as a confiscation list. This has been federal law since 1968 and it overturns state law, meaning they cannot do it and if they do they can be charged with the willful and intentional commission of a federal felony which carries a minimum 10 years in a federal prison to a maximum of 20, and or a $250,000.00 fine minimum up to a maximum fine of $500,000. For federal regulations and statutes, EACH SEPARATE DAY THE FEDERAL LAW IS IN VIOLATION IS A SEPARATE CHARGEABLE OFFENSE COMPLETE WITH PRISON TIME AND OR FINES!

Start charging some of these tommyknockers and putting a few in prison and I bet this will be overturned so fast that all it will be left of it is a bad thought and an after image.

    • mossbergman

start with the CT governor and work down

      • Daniel Gray

I did. I called him and told his office that I had three of these “bad guns” that I was bringing to my familys hunting lodge in northern Conn and no, I would NOT be registering them and any fool that had the stones to think he or she could take them from me was to give it a good go, but my attorneys would not only them for lunch but everyone up the line to the Gov as well. And then when I gave him the federal law he was violating, they looked it up right while I was on the phone with them and then they get very surly and rude and tried to claim this law did not apply to them. My response was try and enforce it and we will see who it applies to or not. They then got very angry and hung up on me.

Me? I thought the whole thing was as funny as the infamous 911 call “Joe v the Deer”

  • anarchyst

“Shunning” can be an effective means of “getting the point across”. Publish the names and addresses of these tyrants and their families. Refuse to do business with them and TELL THEM WHY.
When these tyrants and their families have to go out-of-state to do business, maybe they will get the message.

Maryland to Target 110,000 Citizens With Gun Confiscation Posted on: March 6th, 2014 Authorities in Maryland are set to target 110,000 citizens with gun confiscation under a new law that would link the state’s gun registry with its criminal database, with new troopers set to be hired to enforce door to door visits of illegal gun owners. Check it out: Maryland State Police complain that there is no way for them to identify gun owners who have been convicted of felonies, meaning they can’t check if weapons have been relinquished in accordance with state law. New legislation being considered by the Maryland House of Delegates would allow police to run checks of the state’s gun registry against its criminal database at least twice a year at a cost of $300,000 dollars to create the new system. “State Police estimate that if they linked the databases, they would find 10 percent of registered gun owners — about 110,000 people — would be disqualified. They estimate a rate of 1 percent each year thereafter,” reports the Associated Press, adding that “seven new full-time troopers to investigate findings from the new database,” would be hired, “with a cost of more than $1 million a year for salaries and equipment.”Read more at http://patriotoutdoornews.com/9286/maryland-target-110000-citizens-gun-confiscation#ggzuxii1TTVvLU0W.99 – See more at: http://patriotoutdoornews.com/9286/maryland-target-110000-citizens-gun-confiscation#sthash.MTcLQiMO.dpuf

It is going to be very interesting if the Governor of CT. orders the state militia to confiscate all privately owned weapons of the law enforcement officers residing in that state. I understand that the greater majority of them ignored the law to register firearms. OUTSTANDING MOLON LABE

  • digdeeper

Obviously neither CT legislators, ie We the People’s representatives,
nor law enforcement officers understand their Oath of Office by which
they swore to defend and uphold the Constitution. That in essence is an
oath to defending and upholding our unalienable rights and liberties.
That includes the right to have and bear arms, a right that “shall not
be abridged”. Indeed, an unconstitutional law must not be enforced by
anyone who has taken the Oath, understood it and meant it! Doing so is
advocating for the overthrow of our Constitutional form of government,
and thus of our Republic! SO HELP THEM GOD!
