Wild Hog Attacks Squirrel Hunter

“When he grabbed my calf, I grabbed his snout.”

That’s what Louisiana squirrel hunter Chris Morris said after being attacked last Sunday morning while at the Pearl River Wildlife Management Area by a wild hog.

According to The Times-Picayune, Morris already had two squirrels in the bag and went into stalking mode for number three. That’s when he spooked a 140-pound feral hog out of its bed. Instead of fleeing, the beast charged toward him.
