No good deed goes unpunished. That’s the lesson a Tacoma, Washington math teacher is learning this month following a seemingly good deed in December.

The step father of an eighth grade student is calling for the suspension of his son’s math teacher after the unidentified teacher gave the boy a toy gun as a Christmas present.
The teacher allowed students to pick a gift from a table of toys. The toys came from a student teacher who bought them (presumably out of their own money) while on a field trip with another class.
