Let’s make a deal.
Check it out:
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officers ticketed 64-year-old Fernando Aguilera for trying to trade a live, four-foot-long alligator for beer at a convenience store.
FWC spokesperson Jorge Pino told ABC Affiliate WPLG Aguilera walked into Santa Maria Market carrying the animal and proposed a trade to the clerk behind the counter: a gator for a 12-pack of beer.
“His motivation was clear and he admitted to it, that he just wanted to have beer in his system,” said Pino. “He said he trapped the alligator and made the decision to try to find somebody that would want to barter or trade the alligator for a 12-pack of beer.”
