Funny or Die unveils new video assailing the NRA

Satirical website Funny or Die took a stab at state’s Stand Your Ground laws in a new video, slamming the National Rifle Association and mocking supporters of the laws.

The video, featuring comedians Sarah Silverman, David Alan Grier, Ron Funches and Deon Cole, parodies a new pro-Second Amendment group called the Black NRA. In the Funny or Die skit, each actor discusses the need for young African-Americans to have guns, referencing the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin and alleging the NRA works only to put guns in the hands of white Americans.

“Our fund will put guns into the hands of those that need them most … young black males,” says Silverman, posing as a spokesperson for the NRA.
