Residents of an Oregon town feel that their local sheriff isn’t doing enough to prevent crime, so they are taking matters into their own hands.
Crime in the Clackamas County neighborhood of Milwaukee has been on the rise for a while, prompting a group of neighbors to post signs saying, “This is a Glock block. We don’t call 911.”
Coy Toloman is helping to push the new initiative. She got her concealed carry permit after a statue was stolen off her front porch right in front of her. “We’re starting a new group,” Toloman said. “We don’t feel neighborhood watch is sufficient, and we don’t feel the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is sufficient.”
