Pistol-packing pastors

Have you pastors had enough of the rhetoric from those within our media who preach that owning a gun is detrimental to us as a nation? If so, please get in line, because it starts here with me. I’m big, black, bald, bad and love to hunt. Our very heritage, sovereignty and freedom we all enjoy are under attack, and the time has come to rise up and say: We are many in numbers, we won’t be stopped, and it starts with us.

Do you know anything about our history? We Americans are rich in giving to others, caring for the needy around the world. We love people – and we are a people who don’t always know our great history. Do the names Hitler, Lenin, Mao, Pol Pot, Tojo and the late Hugo Chavez of Venezuela ring a bell? They ought to, because they had one common interest: to gain control of their nations and destroy Christianity by seizing every weapon, in each and every home. This process was subtle but with horrendous results at the end. Because of their tyranny and compulsion to seize all guns, the end result was the murder and slaughter of over 60 million people. The church fell silent – the genocide in each one of these nations could have been avoided if the people had their guns and the had church stood up.

How many of our children in America will die before we get serious about the Second Amendment? We need to address the culprit from the pulpit. It’s the media and secular humanists aiming for our destruction, and we pastors can no longer remain silent. It’s their goal to control the masses exactly like the beasts mentioned above, with evil intent to bring fear to the masses regarding our God-given right to own a gun.

in the Patriot, I love it when the pastor leaves the pulpit and says as he is taking off his robe, sometimes the shepherd needs to protect his sheep.

I have heard of the movie, ‘The Patriot’, but the truth behind that came from a pastor. Reverend Peter Muhlenberg in 1776
concluded his Sunday sermon by declaring, “In the language of the Holy
Writ, there was a time for all things, a time to preach and a time to
pray, but those times have passed away. There is a time to fight, and
that time is now coming!” Muhlenberg then removed his black robe
revealing a full military uniform. Marching to the rear of his church he
declared, “Who among you is with me?” On that day 300 men from his
congregation stood up and joined Muhlenberg in the fight for liberty.
During that time, in this countries founding, clergy was hunted by the British, because of the stand and strength clergy gave to our foundation. Churches were the first building targeted by the British, when they came to the colonies in war.
Only 1/3 of the colonists went against the British. 1/3 aided them, with spies, supplies and information…and the rest just wanted to do nothing, just to be left alone.

As a Pastor, I have never been fooled by the liberal rhetoric about guns. I have a CCW permit, also a SLED “ARMED” SECURITY license. The leaders in the church that I attend have already decided that any CCW holder is approved to carry concealed in our church, so, I carry….with their blessing and approv. Carrying a weapon is not un-Biblical. In fact, Jesus told his disciples to obtain the latest of weapons in their time. Even in Mosaic times, God commanded that the Israelite who killed someone who broke into their house at night, was not guilty of any crime. I will come closer to believing these “antigun” liberals when they voluntarily give up their ARMED SECURITY people and face the world the same way they want us peons to face the world…..unarmed.

My church has at least 30 CCW in service each service. These are part of the security force inside and out.

If the Christians do not stand up for their faith today, they may not be able to do so tomorrow!

Good for this preacher – I’m a catholic pistol permit holder and the deacon at my church is a police sergeant in a local town. There are many ways to protect – God doesn’t want us victims – nor does he want us slaves.

This author is a certified Sr. Chaplain with the International Conference of Police Chaplains. A retired LT. New Mexico Mounted Patrol LEO. On many occasions, I delivered my sermon, or teaching a Bible Class while in full uniform with my duty weapon holstered. “Don’t leave home without it”, motto. May our great GOD and the Lord Jesus Christ restore America to it’s greatness from the slime pit that has developed during the past 4 {+} years. Do I see an AMEN.

More and more churches have trained security forces. Eventually it WILL be open season on churches. Especially those who hold to the Word of God, the 1611KJV.
