    Those girls were shooting those shotguns just like Ocongo did, the photographer who took Ochongo’s picture as he pulled the trigger just didn’t follow through with a second one so we could see the idiot fall on his ass as those girls did! That said, what imbecile would give a shotgun with a pistol grip to a young girl so that she could hurt herself? Pistol grips on a 12ga. are about as stupid as someone who would buy one and give it to a girl to shoot. I used to throw telephone poles around and I’ve fired 12Ga. shotguns with only one hand but I wouldn’t have anything to do with a shotgun with a pistol grip.

    My wife loves my Browning Buckmark pistol in .22 lr and she is not afraid to use it. She hates my Accu-tek .380 auto, so either way it’s covered. To those of you with bigger guns, remember this; I’d rather have 2 twenty two in them than have 1 .44 mag miss!

    I’m a gunner, got lots of um in various caliber. I highly recommend a shot gun for home defense. A double barrel “Coach Gun” /w hammers is an excellent choice (see http://www.cz-usa.com/products/view/hammer-coach-ss-case-hardened/ very good choice. Beautiful functional gun) you can store these guns loaded, they cannot fire until the hammer is cocked AND the triggers pulled – MUCH safer than the old time versions. With a 20 inch barrel very maneuverable, with 12 ga 3 inch 00 buck shot much better chance of nailing intruder on first shot – no sighting in necessary. Don’t insult the girls by claiming they can’t handle the gun – female trap shooters all over the place, and using 12 ga too. Still, not substitute for easily stashed handgun. Get both, you’re covered.
    PS – NEVER fire a “warning shot”. Your first shot is a warning, if the intruder is able to escape or limp out – lucky him, he got the warning.
    PS PS – MAKE SURE the intruder is an intruder. You don’t want to take out your daughter sneaking in from a late date, or her boy friend trying to leave discreetly (more than one cop has done this, and they should know better), KNOW you don’t know your target.

    Dear Crazy Joe- The purchase of a shotgun as opposed to a semi-auto rifle is not an “either or” proposition. I want and need both. I need the shotgun for shooting through the door or into the air as you suggested and the Semi-auto for actually defending myself and my family from the gun grabbers like you Feinstein, Bloomberg, Cuomo, Schumer and others. Thanks for the advice. You’re the best!
