NRA Vindicated: Armed Guard Stops School Shooter After He Opens Fire On Classmates…

No gun-grabbing bill in the world would have done this.

A student opened fire at his middle school Thursday afternoon, wounding a 14-year-old in the neck before an armed officer working at the school was able to get the gun away, police said.

Multiple shots were fired in the courtyard of Price Middle School just south of downtown around 1:50 p.m. and the one boy was hit, Atlanta Police Chief George Turner said. In the aftermath, a teacher received minor cuts, he said.

The wounded boy was taken “alert, conscious and breathing” to Grady Memorial Hospital, said police spokesman Carlos Campos. He was expected to be released Thursday night.

Police swarmed the school of about 400 students after reports of the shooting while a crowd of anxious parents gathered in the streets, awaiting word on their children. Students were kept at the locked-down school for more than two hours before being dismissed.

Newtown Calls for Armed School Officers

This is a sign of how sick our society is and how demoralized our children are! So much violence in viseo games and movies but don’t chastise Hollywood! Taking our guns is not the answer.

    • Jake

I think the bigger problem is with the media making these shooters have instant fame. If they gave that attention to heroes then we would have more kids wanting to be heroes. We kicked God, morality and parental guidance out of child rearing. The movies and games are the only heroes that kids have only it is fake.

    Oops! I meant video games.

Why were the students kept on lockdown for 2 hours if the armed officer was able to disarm him so quickly? How about getting the students back to normal as quickly as possible? The parents sure would have liked to see the incident resolved so they could know their children are safe. I bet the crime scene was rather small.

    • ron

Probable because thay were unsure if their were other assailants.

      • Idadho

If they use that logic, the schools would always be in lockdown. There is always a possibility there (not their) are other assailants. This is just an example of the paranoid cops going overboard with the slightest provocation. Or, maybe they were waiting for the donuts and coffee to be delivered. The injured student was off to the hospital and the perp was in custody. So, they might as well continue to traumatize the students with worry that there may be another perp. Yea Right.

  • How DARE that guard VIOLATE the Gun-Free Zone ! ! !

    • We need a few more of these good guys stopping bad guys with a gun. Should have just killed the punk!!!! If the officer had killed him it would set some example for the next one that tried to do this.

Why didn’t that officer stop the shooting with his scissors?

Bet It wasn’t an asaault rifle he stopped him with…lol!

    • sandman

no idiot, you should have posted something like’ I bet is was not an assault rifle the kid used, instead you punk for short fool.

      • When the media gets done with it they will say it was an Ak-47

  • Get these kids of anti depresents. 99% of this crap is some doctor telling the parents that the kid is depressed and needs drugs.

  • Lets send scissors to White House for bidden and Obama agents to use for there security…since we paid tax money for that stupid video to tell us to use for our self defense.good for us them it good for them all of them in d.c.
