Why There Won’t Be Gun Confiscation in America

When some loudmouth spouted off about how he was going to do so-and-so to this guy or that guy, a guy who was really tough would often say, “You and who else?” or “You and what army?” An opposing force is only as effective as its ability to win battles.

“In the waning days of WW II, during a discussion of the future of Eastern Europe, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill cautioned Joseph Stalin to consider the views of the Vatican. To this the Soviet leader responded, ‘How many divisions does the Pope of Rome have?’”

It’s not enough to make a threat; you’ve got to be able to back it up with force.

The majority of Democrats and the anti-Second Amendment bullies have a problem. While Congress may pass the Feinstein gun bill (unlikely), tens of millions of gun owners will ignore it. They will engage in an act of civil disobedience, probably for the first time in their lives. Of course, they will not see it as disobedience but an act of faithfulness to a document that birthed this great nation.

    As an observer of human nature, and past history, I believe that if gun confiscation actually took place, there will be certain groups of gun owners who will take that as the opening round to have a bloody revolt. The first blood to flow will be the treasonous politicians who got our society to where it is now. I truly hope that the politicians, especially the subversive ones, have thought about that probability. Of course, most of the subversives and treasonous politicians, the “Progressives,”(read: Communists) are lost in their dreamland Utopian thinking . If a bloody revolution did happen, the Big Money Interests who manipulated the politicians probably think that they’ll be out of sight / out of mind. They too had better think about the ramifications of what they created. They’ll become targets too.

    I was never in the military service, and I barely know which end of a gun the bullet is supposed to come out of, but if led by patriots like the past servicemen on this site, I will do my duty. After 68 years of watching the greatest, most free, most decent, and most altruistic nation ever on the face of this planet be ruptured, mangled, tormented, and tortured into virtual ignominy by greedy leftist criminals and dirtbags, I will serve in whatever capacity I must to help preserve our Constitution for future generations.

    Let’s start with removing all weapons and guns from the President, Vice President and down the line. Let them go unprotected without their armed guards. If we are not suppose to have any legal protection against the criminal, then they have to do the same. Remember the Constitution of the United States gives everyone the legal right to protect themselves, not just the wealthy and powerful. We know that our corrupt government wants to take control and destroy our wonderful nation, but we will not allow this to happen.

    I can tell you my husband and I own a ranch in Texas and have plenty of fire power and enough reloading supplies to keep them firing. We have deer, fish and feral pigs to eat along with cattle, and plenty of seeds. I love my country and am willing to die to save it. I pray we never have to raise our weapons to another American, but will if need be.

      I’m with you! I’ve just got a small acreage out here in the Texas hill country and not as much fire power as I’d like but I’m willing to do whatever is necessary to keep this great country free.

    Sad thing is, a lot of gun owners will fold if they pass this law. If I remember my history though, only about 5% of the population took up arms against the Brits in the war for independence and won.

    America admires the attitude of those sheriff’s for standing up to their oath to defend America’s Constitution. No doubt they exhibited needed leadership.

    Dianne Feinstein’s assault on the Constitutional rights will be met with resistance. Not so much by the restrictions she is trying to institute, but by her so called “Act”, which offends the Constitution. You, and most American’s know that The 2nd Amendment is very clear, and cannot be legally amended unless the Constitution is approved by a two thirds body of Congress and by three forth’s of the legislatures of each state. It appears her a way of attempting to seek change is by disregarding the Constitution and offending the resolve of the American citizen. In that case they are testing the basic freedoms of patriots who deem it their duty to protect their rights, in which case Americans can rightfully form a citizens militia to challenge such a tyrannical government movement.

    It is also interesting to note the unconstitutionality in Feinstein’s bill which states in Section 7, entitled Severability: “If any provision of this Act, an amendment made by this Act, or the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstance is held to be unconstitutional, the remainder of this Act, the amendments made by this Act, and the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstance shall not be affected thereby.” In other words any part of her act that is deemed unconstitutional, or any action cannot be used as a basis to label or change or effect the act in general or purpose.

    So America, stand by your rights. It may be that you will be challenged to defend those rights in order to keep and bear arms against infringement by an unconstitutional government agenda.

    I saw a report recently that said that 47% of American homes have at least one gun. That makes millions of gun owners who will refuse to turn over their weapons. I think that Obama knows it, but right now he needs the ruckus on gun control to cover up something a thousand times worse: BENGHAZI! The stinky trails from Benghazi keep going straight back to the White House and he needs damage control until they can either come up with a plausible story that will satisfy the stupid element in our country, or bury the story completely. Don’t watch what the media is putting on the front stage, watch what is going on behind the black curtain at the back of the room….if you can find any news on it…

    I served 20 years with the US Army and carried an M-14 in Vietnam. NO ONE will take my guns away from me unless they kill me. Then, they will have to kill my next-door neighbor, who is an active duty Soldier. Then they will have to kill the guy across the street who was a 50-caliber machinegunner on a riverine patrol boat in Vietnam. They they will have to kill his next-door neighbor with the concealed-carry permit. Oh! I didn’t mention that we ALL have concealed carry permits!! Then, they will have to kill….
    You get the picture. It ain’t gonna happen while WE are still alive, and WE are about 10 million strong and able.

    I happen to possess a .223/5.56 mm pistol. Do you guess Feinstein has that one on her list of weapons to be banned? I already know my AR-15 assault rifle is. I probably have a better reason for owning the rifle than anyone. I served 7 years in the USAF and had one then (M-16). I served 14 years in the VA Nat. Guard, including Desert Storm in 1991 and had one then (M-16). I was issued one while serving the last 2 years of my 32 years as a State Trooper (AR-15 M-4). I just happen to like those guns! The pistol was just unique and I wanted it. Even the police pistol I bought when I retired from the State Police will be illegal according to the liberal gun-haters. I will never shoot anyone unless they put someone’s life in immediate danger. If they do that, I need a large capacity magazine in order to do a good job.

    I have no intention of complying with any law that goes against my God given right to bear arms–I’m tired of being vilified, called a nut, called a heartless nazi etc. by these anti-American progressive liberals..I’ve done nothing wrong, I’ve never even had a speeding ticket, I am a tax paying law abiding America loving man..I am getting tired of getting dirt kicked in my face…Come to my home to confiscate my personal property and I will defend it with my life–Stop making me out to be the bad guy–I was never involved in politics before, but I have truly grown to despise the liberals over this latest in your face move against America.. This country has fallen so far so fast I barely recognize it anymore–If that’s their idea of progress, they can keep it..
