War veteran pulls gun on burglar

A local war veteran in a wheelchair tells FOX 5 he sent a burglar from his home. Army veteran Mark Sikes of Bogart says he pulled out his pistol as soon as he heard his front door coming down.

Sikes, who is wheelchair-bound, says he was watching TV when he heard a noise, and saw a man standing in the hallway of his home. He says he didn’t hesitate to grab his handgun when he heard the noise.

“I reached and got the gun out of my drawer and kind of raised it up,” Sikes said. “He took off and ran out the front door.”

        Among other horrible things my Marine friend, i fought in Korea had my gun then and i still have it now, they have to pry it from my cold dead hand, these freaking stupid liberal dumb asses dont’ know what it is to be held up and a gun looking right into your eyeballs happened to me two times thank god he didn’t shoot me, second time it happened the intruder pull the trigger and it miss fired, i swore that i would carry the rest of my life

    I asked a friend of mine who just happens to be a fairly high ranking officer … If Obama did declare Martial Law, how would the military react. His answer was that only 20 to 25 percent would follow his orders. Most of the real military would not do it, possibly even put down those that want to follow Obama.
    I thought it interesting that they in the military have already discussed this between themselves.
    As far as the war vet that chased the bad guy from his home… I think it’s great… that’s how it works Feinstein… yes, that’s how it works.

        Im still in the military. The “Litmus test” your referring to is for as far as I know high ranking officers. Im an NCO. I will be the one telling the soldiers to stand down. The officer will not be the one they want going door to door. And yes, I will stand by my fellow American than do something unconstitutional.

          I have a fairly high ranking commissioned officer in the family that says the same thing you are. He was working at the Pentagon at the time, and said they higher ups wouldnt do it either. That was prior to this litmus test stuff.

      Fox News ran a news clip from the early 1990′s of Feinstein discussing owning a gun for her personal safety while she walked to a Hospital to visit her ill husband.. She stated, if anyone tried to assault her she wouldn’t hesitate to use shoot them. She still has her permit to carry, but wants to take ours, leaving us unprotected in a situation similar to the one clueless Babs described. The problem with the bureaucrats like her, is they think they are a special group with rights we peons don’t deserve. We need term limits to prevent the Politicians like Feinstein from becoming entrenched in the Senate or House until they are well past a reasonable age.

    Here in Ohio, we would have just shot the scroat, and then calmly called the police and told them to bring the meat wagon as they had a pick-up. The best thing is that the police could not do anything about it nor could his friends nor could his family. Its called Castle Doctrine. Bet it wouldnt surprise you that home invasions or threats against people or attempted car jackings have dropped by well over 50%, especially after a scroat was shot in Columbus and the family tried to sue and found they couldnt. And the family was told that if ANYTHING happened to the person or the property of said person, the family would be arrested and charged. Needless to say the family does see this person every day as he works for the city, but there is nothing they can do about it. Our 6th US District Court (one step below the US Supreme Court) has already ruled this law constitutional and the Supreme Court has refused to hear it thus making it law in Ohio and unable to be challenged.

    I like this law….lol.

    Feinstein, by her own TV admission admitted to having a Concealed Carry permit, and does carry a pistol in her purse. She also said on the same show, if a mugger ever came up to her, she’d take him out with her. She’s a two-faced Democrat that says, it’s all about me, and you don’t get anything. As long as I carry a gun, you don’t have to. Also she doesn’t have a hint of what an Assault Weapon is. She places it with the Tommy-Gun that was outlawed in the mid-late 30′s. One pull of the trigger and it empties all 100+ rounds. By her standards, if she’s carrying a semi-automatic hand gun, she’s then carrying an Assault weapon and doesn’t know it.. A gun and a car are similiar killing machines. Both need a driver to operate. Yet, I’ve never heard of anyone trying to Ban a particular type of Car due to vehicular homicide. Maybe they should Ban all cars over 180cc. “Too much power and too fast”. Maybe instead of 4 wheels, they should be limited to only 2 so it won’t go so fast. The stupid “Anti’s” will probably look into this now. Maybe instead of 14 gallons of gas, limit them to 3. Makes as much as the “Anti Gun or Assault Rifles”
    Feinstein should get a job….she’s got too much free time on her hands. Course, her home state, as well as Harry Reids home state put them back in office. Ted Kennedy once said we have control on term limits…it’s called the Ballot Box. He of course being a Democrat didn’t know that 49 other states had no say to his reelection either. NO..
