Nobody should attend this Show. The 2nd Amendment is straightforward and unambiguous. These people are no different than Obama. Say they fully support it at the exact same time they take action to undermine it. When are folks going to grow a pair and stop this politically correct garbage.

It’s a freaking peice of metal that fires a projectile – they ALL have the same function, some do it better than others, is that wrong? So now only the almighty military can have these guns? If they are banning only the AR’s they are mislead as to what constitutes an “Assault Weapon” in the new ban they are wanting – ANY semi-automatic weapons that has a magazine in front of the trigger group, as well as ANY non-pistol firearm with a pistol grip behind the trigger group is name in this new Assault Weapon ban! I know AR’s are being paraded around but they are coming for anything that has a 10 round mag or larger, and ALL Semi-auto rifles, as well as Mossberg 500 series shotguns, and tactical shotguns pump or semi-auto that have a magazine that holds 6 or more rounds of ammunition. The folks that put on that gun show should be put out of business for going along with this blatant attack on our 2nd Amendment rights! And in case those folks at the gun show missed their high school civic’s class, the 2nd Amendment isn’t about hunting, plinking, target shooting or even home defense, it is about defending these enumerated rights in the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution from folks like Obama and his ilk, and folks like Gov. Como of NY!

I for one know for ABSOLUTENESS, WILL NOT ATTEND THIS EVENT. Why would the LARGEST outdoor show not include an item that happens to be one of the most versatile firearm, that is used in all aspects of shooting, from plinking to hunting??? This is a huge mistake on their end..

My take is that the decision to avoid “controversy” has less to do with the guns than it has to do with paranoia about the perceived potential for nasty demonstrations by thumb-suckers that would knock a hole in attendance – thus profits$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Folla da monny !!!! Duh !!

“THEY” want to ban assault rifles. OK, they already are. No S___. Now they want to ban our #1 defense rifle! Balderdash! This is where we have been screwing up again. I’m confused because the have a GUN SHOW Mid Atlantic Arms Collectors in March. I hope people DON’t get the two mixed up! The Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show never had a lot of weapons mostly Outfitters to set up hunting adventures. I WILL NOT ATTEND THE EASTERN SPORTS & OUTDOOR SHOW!

I’m from western PA, and it would be a nice trip to go to the show, under 250 miles. However, not in my lifetime. The sponsors don’t even know that the AR in AR-15, refers to the manufacturer of the AR-15 shooting platform and not to Assault Rifle.. With this limit of intelligence, I can see why they would not want they would fold. Like the song says: “You’ve got to know when to hold ‘em, Know when to fold ‘em, Know when to walk away, and Know when to run”. Well they folded, now we all will walk away, and even run away from them. They gambled and LOST a lot of business. I’d like to get a list of those exhibitors that show up so we can Boycott them too. It’s only fair, if the exhibitors can’t show their wares, they should not attend. There’s no Politicly Right position here. It’s our freedom to own & bare guns, and if we can’t see what they have, no reason to go to their store to buy it. We’ll buy elsewhere, and to me, that means all sporting and shooting material I need, plus where I purchase my hunting license. Just MAYBE, most of the exhibitors are NRA members too, and will boycott.
IF you can streach a point, A car and a gun. Someone uses a gun to kill someone; they immediately go after the gun, makers, ammo, & stores. IF someone driving a car and kills someone, They don’t go after the car maker, salesman, manufacturer, or dealer; and they don’t try to ban all high preformance cars on the road, They go after the driver and the Media doesn’t blow it out of proportion. Probably doesn’t make it out of the County of the accident. The gun and car does not kill. It’s the user of either that is at fault. Remember our hunters in the U.S. outnumber the entire China Military soldiers. We are the Milita our Founding Fathers refered to in the 2nd Amendment, and they wanted us armed to prevent a Tyrant from taking over the U.S.A. In WW II, the Japanese would not invade the U.S. because the Emporer was told there would be a Gun behind every tree. I’m off the platform now. Keep the Faith. Next time you see a penny on the ground, pick it up..it has a special message for you. “In God We Trust”.

What we need to do is stop those that sell guns from taking advantage of the gun ban to make big money. They are doubleing their price for ARs.Seems to me those that sell guns have nothing in common with their customers other than to get as much money from them as possible. They know people want to own an AR 15 so they raise the price and tell them they better get them now or they never will. That is a piss poor business practice. They should be ashamed of themselves for doing this. They make good enough profit as it is at the regular price, but greed reared its ugly head.One thing those people that are paying those ridiculous prices should know, is that when this all dies down your weapon is not goiong to any where near what you paid for it and you are going to lose your butt when you try to sell them. The dealers you buy them from are not going to give you anywhere near what you paid. Nor will any private buyer. These dealers are as I like to call it. Price gouging you. And do not believe them when they say, “Defend the Second Amendment”, because all they care about is taking as much money as they can out of your wallet and NOT treating you fairly. Using the gun ban to make money, thats as bad as obama trying to take our Second Amendment away. Do not consider them fellow gun owners. They are business men all the way. They could care less about our rights. They need to be boycotted also.

Boycott not only the show but those who attend. They are not willing to sacrifice profits in order to stand up for the people who kept them in business for years. They are cowards and we not only shouldn’t do business with them but we MUST make them understand we will NOT abide their lack of courage. Write them; call them; challenge them until they are bankrupt. Maybe then real Americans will take their place.

I do not own one of these but believe they are also harmless in honest American law-abiding hands and urge a boycott.

People need to stand up for their rights ,not just fold their hands and run .

I just emailed them & told them I’m NOT Going! Not gonna go to anything else that Reed Exhibitions sponsors either! As a matter of fact, I’m gonna boycott any company that takes an Anti-2nd Amendment position!
