Vermont to Require NON-Gun Owners to Pay a Fine?

Here’s a fresh approach. Teri Hinkle shared this along with a lot of other info on American National Militia.

As an aside, Drake and Co. are posting more stuff lately that seems geared to get us all wound up. (Not this particular piece) It doesn’t feel good. I’m going to stop there.

HOW ABOUT VERMONT? … register “non-gun-owners” and require them to pay a $500 fee to the state
Vermont State Rep. Fred Maslack has read the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, as well as Vermont ‘s own Constitution very carefully, and his strict interpretation of these documents is popping some eyeballs in New England and elsewhere.

Arizone allows concealed carry without a permit.

    • Tank

Yes, but still encourages responsible ownership by taking a concealed carry class.

    • auhunter

Sorry, no they don’t. Open or Discreet Carry yes, but not concealed. Discreet Carry is that a portion of the weapon or the holster containing it must be visible to the public.

  • KDS

You should be armed, should your country call you to serve against Tyrants like Obama!!!

  • KDS

Maybe the state governments should distribute free guns to all that want to join the new army against it’s government.

    • KDS

Gee KDS that’s a good idea, better than them dam phones.

  • KDS

Speaking of free guns to the public. I have a shopping list of some heavy artillery, grenades, tanks, jets,
etc. etc etc…….Oh I forgot all you doctors, dentists and the like might want to get ready for democratic
    casualties all free with Obamacare!!!

  • charlesbigtruck

    I like this idea.

  • waterman

I think a lot of small groups are doing just that all around the country. Getting orginized, and ready to go at a moments notice. I’ve started taking my kids on extended hikes though woods, camping and foraging at night. Next one is 14 miles to grandmas house. This teaches them how to read a compass, and stealth. We get together with other families when we do these exteded marches. We go locked and loaded, we have regroup locations pin pointed on county maps so we know where to meet if we get seperated. I can only imagine that there are hundreds of groups like this throughout the US.

Sounds reasonable to me. This money could help pay for the police support required for those who chose NOT to defend themselves! It might also entice some to BEGIN keeping a firearm to avoid the exrta cost; this may DISCOURAGE thugs from gleefully attacking homes with impunity, as they WON’T know who MAY have enough balls to DEFEND their homes, since they have a gun!

  • cheetosareus

The fines or fees could go to the police, fire and emts .

  • fedupwgov

In Alaska, you have Grizzlies, and Wolves in your backyard,GUN CARRY is a must, maybe move to Alaska.
In the lower 48 we have more issues with thugs, muggers, carjackers, people breaking in to your house, and worst of all scheming ,crooked politicians( worse than Grizzlies) ,I think New York and Chicago NEED less restrictive GUN laws, due to their gun laws, and crime rates. When(IF they try) government tales away guns, from legal, hard working, law abiding citizens, ONLY Criminals, and the government will have guns Check the crime rate in Kennesaw GA,where it’s mandatory for EVERY household to own a firearm.

    • auhunter

You’re right 4 murders since ’82 when the mandate went into effect. 3 committed by the same man, a non-resident of the town.

  • Fred_K

It should be used to pay the police for the added work they incur for the imbiciles who expect the police to defend their precious little butts.

  • chinook

We may have to use our guns sooner than expected if the clown in the White House has his way with gun control. Feinstein’s bill requires registration, and with registration come confiscation.

    • auhunter

None of mine are registered anywhere, nor will they be, hell, it would be at least a one day job to get it done. Some are in sealed glass cases and I’ll be damned if I will break the seal just so they can confirm the serial numbers.

Wow, actually the text of the vermont constitution is quite clear on it:

    “That every member of society hath a right to be protected in the enjoyment of life, liberty, and property, and therefore is bound to contribute the member’s proportion towards the expense of that protection, and yield personal service, when necessary, or an equivalent thereto, but no part of any person’s property can be justly taken, or applied to public uses, without the person’s own consent, or that of the Representative Body, nor can any person who is conscientiously scrupulous of bearing arms, be justly compelled thereto, if such person will pay such equivalent;

Check Honda Civic license number 872 YEO for vehicle supposedly driven by Adam Lanza as photo indicates at Sandy Hook scene.

Investigate Christopher Rodia and extended family.
Leads to Scire extended family all living at 19 Volmmer Ave., Norwalk, CT.

Associated with George Uzar, Sr. and Jr. Sr. convicted last year of manufacturing machine guns to sell probably to Latino Kings local gangs. Serving 135 months plus 3 years supervised. 17 involved in operation conducted by Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Marshals Service, Stamford, Ct. Police Department, Bridgeport police Department, Norwalk Police department, and Connecticut Department of Corrections. BATF knows about all this. Uzar residence raid produced 76 firearms with 5 machine guns and numbers ground off. Where’s the media. Wiretaps and undercover agents involved. Probably several informants.

MO for drugs, gun running, vengence much more plausible rather than weakling, reclusive, shy, barely comes out of house with hyper act prep and efficiency who is a vegan because doesn’t wish to harm animals????? Then comes the media non videos with massive surveillance/security system recently installed. Rodia found with large bag of oxycontin, an opiod, at arrest. Allison Uzar works for Purdue Pharma which manufactures oxy. Purdue pharma ph 203 588 8000, 201 Tresser Boulevard, Stamford, CT 06901.

Some links for conviction info.,, Where’s the reporting? Please verify. Huge implications for focus on gun control and such an atrocity if Adam L. did not shoot own mother. Note victims were shot pretty much point blank in face multiple times. Sounds like “message” hit, i.e. no speak and so terrorizing. With complicity sounds sort of like “Fast and Furious.”

    • David15

17 involved were accomplice suspects and associates.

  • auhunter

Yeah, my home state, knew they would come through eventually. One town, Kennesaw, GA. now one state, next the country. Maybe Obama and the liberal left have bitten off more than they can chew.
