BATFE Taking Comments on a Pending Ban Ammo

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is considering further restrictions for various types of ammunition used in both rifles and handguns.

The new restrictions stem from the Federal Gun Control Act of 1968, which among other things restricted “Armor Piercing” ammunition and also set forth exceptions that were allowed.

One such restriction banned handgun ammunition which had a composition where the materials were harder than lead.

What about when I hunt ducks with a pistol? Isn’t the lead bullet (that passes through the duck) going to foul the waters with lead poisoning? Isn’t that why we have to shoot steel shot for waterfowl?
Duh! What next from these one-numbered IQ gov’t types. Morons.

How about having the batfe stop drugs from coming into the country along with all the illegal parasites. Afterall they are a national security problem, they are sucking the American welfare system dry at the behest of obama. And let’s have the batfe drop the hammer on the gun runner and thief obama and his beotch holder.

But it’s OK for the ATF to send all kinds of guns south of the border without keeping track of them and no one gets punished for that, our own border agents get killed, Mexicans get killed and no one pays the price for this crap. Eric Holder should be the one behind bars and the rest of the ATF agents in ARizona too… We are all the bad guys in their eyes, but really it’s the other way around and they are still walking around, FEMA stocking up on ammunitiion, for what???? The Constitution says we have a right to bare arms, it doesn’t say with this exception or that exception. Obama and the Congress start messing with the Constitution and they should be booted out on their asses. mary711

Off the more than 20,000 gun laws in this country, not one of them stopped this mentally disturbed felon. Perhaps some solution beyond knee-jerk passage of more gun laws should be considered. Perhaps we could blame the debased culture, the moral decline, the public corruption, the lack of personal responsibility, the decline of the family unit, and the ”anything goes” promiscuity preached by the libs. Perhaps we could blame the ACLU for advocating special rights for mentally disturbed people. It ain’t the gun, it’s the individual and the lack of responsibility.

There are some pretty specific people to blame in this latest shooting. How about everyone in the court + parole system who let a man who murdered his 92 y/o grandmother with a hammer out of jail?? There is no reason why this man shouldn’t have been executed. At the very least, he should have never seen the outside of a jail.

When they go down this road we are finished as a nation. If they succeed in disarming the people then it is only a matter of time before we lose all of our rights. This President is Woodrow Wilson, FDR and Hitler all in one. They all believe in rounding up dissenters and imprisoning them. Before you do this it is best to disarm the people as much as possible.

When if ever, will those who are supposed to be intelligent enough to hold any political office, realize that guns are not the big problem? Any one in a position of authority should be intelligent enough to realize that guns only expose the lunatics who are free to roam the streets with no restrictions. Of course the civil rights and the ACLU will always find a way to blame any shootings of violence on the NRA and the second amendment. They are as dangerous to our freedoms as any nut with a gun.

BATF consists of HotDogs that march to the Anti-Gun Culture! They, for the most part, create more problems than they solve. They think they know it all and they don’t. They were originally formed for Alcohol cases. Need I say more? ~Rick Magee, FL

What’s stoping Globalization right now? Millions of armed Americans. The government should give up on taking away our 2nd Amendment rights, because it’s never going to happen. All that will be accomplished is millions of pi$$ed off Americans.

IN SHOT GUNS YOU ARE NOT TO USE LEAD TO HUNT BIRDS WITH —FED LAW– WHAT WE ARE TO USE IS NOT AS GOOD AS LEAD BUT MUCH HARDER THAN LEAD .IT NOT HARD TO CONCEIAL A SHORT BARRELL SHOT GUN IF YOU WANT TO AND THEY DO FAR MORE DAMMAGE THAN A HAND GUN.

Why hasn’t someone done something about Obama, Holder and Clinton’s Fast and Furoius screw up. They have done more harm than good when it come to killing people. They need to be revoid from office and put in jail themselves. If they keep trying to take the peoples gun rights away they could be asking for more than they can handle. Look at the people in England and the Land Down Under they’re wanting their gun right restored due to what’s happening with the Muslims within their countries.

BATFE needs to work on not sending “assault rifles” to the drug cartels in Mexico, that would be a full time job, I mean they are responsible for that mess not us.

The Government should stop playing with all of our rights. Leave our 2nd amendment, and all its aspects alone. I say “NO” to all government intervention to any of our rights.

Do we really need a federal agency to control alcohol firearms and tobacco? All states already have their own state agencies for this. Do away with the ATF, save the taxpayers some money and take away one more abusive controling federal agency

Do you realize that on any given 4th of July, an AVERAGE of 648 people die in automobile accidents, more than 50% of which involve drunk and/or doped up drivers? Where is the outrage for this tragedy? If the do-gooders want to do something really constructive for society, let them tackle drugs and alcohol use. Since 1948 more than 1,600,000 people have been killed by the drunk driver in the U. S. alone and another 10 million plus have been maimed for life. Where is the outrage for this travesty? Compare the number killed by guns to these numbers.

When our government starts down the road to disarming the people in direct violation of the 2nd amendment it pushes the people to consider revolution (the real reason for the 2nd amendment).

The BATF&E is nothing more than a governmental gestapo set up to intimidate , harrase , and prosecute innocent citizens for using legal products in legal ways . As ALL gunlaws pertaining to responsible adults are illegal and unconstitutional so is the BATF&E . Their entire leadership should be imprisoned , along with AG Eric Holder , for arming the Mexican drug cartels and being responsible for the cold blooded murder of at least three American citizens , especially since all this was done to subvert the second amendment in the bill of rights . The level of ignorance reguired to re-elect an obvious communist AFTER he has shown his hand is mind boggling . My own wife , who just happens to be VERY female has admitted that giving women the vote was the biggest mistake this country ever made , however I disagree with her , the biggest mistake was giving the hormone driven brainwashed children under twenty one the vote , especially considering the fact that virtually ALL colleges and universities have morphed into nothing more than massive indoctrination centers run and controlled by pure unadulterated COMMUNISTS . The ONLY people under twenty one voting should be members of the United States Armed Forces , as they are the only RESPONSIBLE children .

And why ban ‘armor piercing’ ammo? Because the government thugs are behind armor and we are not. That way, when the fight breaks out, they are protected, and the population is left to defend against them, and you can bet they will have armor piercing ammo, just as you can bet Barry Soetoro will still have his armor protection and men with guns.

BATFE has mission to investigate / enforce crimes that have been committed with specified itams and methods. That, of course, duplicates duties replicated by hundreds of other law enforcement entities – making, to some degree, BATFE rather redundant. Any regulation promulgated by or through BATFE is, of course, unconstitutional and therefore illegal.
