New Rule: All Teachers Should Be Allowed to Carry Guns

My heart is sick. I feel so sorry for the children that were murdered, as well as the parents and loved ones of the slain kids and teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown. Connecticut—and all of us here in the U.S., who still have a soul, pray for those whose lives were just senselessly shattered.

But imagine if at least one teacher (with a concealed weapons permit) had their .40 caliber Glock with them, locked and loaded, when this weed Adam Lanza began his murderous mayhem today on the Sandy Hook Elementary School campus? What would have happened differently?

Would idiot boy have been able to slay 20 children and 6 teachers? I doubt it. But then again . . . who knows?

“Should be allowed” is different than “SHALL BE REQUIRED” to not only carry, but to prove proficiency, accuracy, and the necessary attitude to take another persons life if that is what it takes to PROTECT and DEFEND the children in their school or on the grounds.

I don’t know about arming teachers; from my actual experience working amongst teacher – many are nothing more than ignorant brain washed idiots who do drugs and believe in a ‘Hippish’ life style and have a immaturish and emotional driven view of life – and we allow them to carry guns in our schools sounds more like a plan for disaater. Yes, I have experienced many many good teachers that I would trust to carry a firearm to help protect our children. In this specifi incident I want to know where the police where and how come it so long for the police to arrive. This is no incident that proves without a single doubt that all our gun laws don’t work and no Federal, local government, the police can protect us. Point two, does anyone see the pattern here and around the world of our schools and churches being attacked? This is a Muslim tactic of warring against their enemies.

Think about it. In every (?) case the shooters @ schools & other locales KNEW it was illegal to have a firearm there, meaning that no honest LAW-ABIDING person would be armed. In every (?) case they opened fire on unarmed victims but either committed suicide or meekly surrendered just as soon as somebody else w/a gun showed up. Just by ALLOWING school personnel or visiting parents/others to carry concealed would make these cowards stop & think before committing such atrocities in the future.

Who knows, but it’s definitely worth trying because everything the Feds have done so far sure as Hell hasn’t worked, & in fact only made things worse.

Not allowed but at one staff member required to be armed and trained.

  • I don’t think I’d want to own a gun b/c I’m a teacher; but
as an American, I would want the choice. I don’t own a gun, never have, but
just b/c I don’t own one doesn’t mean I have the right to try and take away
others’ 2nd Amendment rights. Where I work, approximately 90% of the residents own guns, and
OVER 75% of these guns are illegally obtained. Changing or restricting gun laws
will not affect the ppl who currently have them illegally. The tragedy at Sandy
Hook Elementary is heartbreaking, and the pycho killer obtained those guns
illegally, so I don’t believe changing or taking away 2nd Amendment Rights will
stop these horrendous crimes. I Pray for the families and the victims that lost
their lives in the Sandy Hook Mass Murder and may God Bless US all.
