Paul Ryan Gets His Daughter in Gear for Hunting Season

It’s that time of year again when hunters pull out their gear, clean up their guns, sharpen their arrows and get to work. This year is extra special for GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan. Why? His daughter is 10-years-old now and can go hunting.

Gearing up for deer-hunting season, Rep. Paul Ryan bought hunting clothes for his daughter to go with the rifle the Republican vice presidential nominee gave her for Christmas.

“She’s hunted with me but this is the first time she gets to do the hunting herself,” Ryan said of daughter Liza. “She’s 10 years old and you can hunt starting at 10. I got her a rifle for Christmas last year and so I’m getting her ready.”

Way to go Mr. Ryan and good luck to you and your Daughter .

My geanddaugher’s husband and all his sistersd are hunters. They do it because they like to have venison to put on their tables. I am sure that when their kids are old enough, they will become hunters, too. BTW, hsi sisters are all beautiful girls! – they could model their hunting outfits 🙂 Have fun with your daughter, Mr. Ryan. When you first came on to the scene – or when I first became aware of you – a year or so ago, I told everyone “he will be president someday”

    Why is this news??

Because the left wants to be make us think Ryan is crazy for allowing his child to hunt. In reality, I find it refreshing that he is not unlike every hunter with a daughter. They do all in their power to bring their girls into the loop. It seldom works, but you have to love any dad that tries.
