National Weather Service Follows DHS In Huge Ammo Purchase

Why would the National Weather Service need to purchase large quantities of powerful ammo? That’s the question many are asking after the federal agency followed in the footsteps of the Department of Homeland Security in putting out a solicitation for 46,000 rounds of hollow point bullets.

A solicitation which appears on the FedBizOpps website asks for 16,000 rounds of .40 S&W jacketed hollow point (JHP) bullets, noted for their strength, to be delivered to locations in Ellsworth, Maine, and New Bedford, Mass.

A further 6,000 rounds of S&W JHP will be sent to Wall, New Jersey, with another 24,000 rounds of the same bullets heading to the weather station in St. Petersburg, Florida.

    Factoid: The Geneva Convention does not allow the use of hollow points. These rounds were not purchased for the military.

      I don’t believe any one thought they were. They are how ever allowed to be used in your own country, against the people who tried to vote you out of office.

    who knows ? This ammo may have be a part of stock that will be used against the private citzens of America. We can only hope that our nation and government doesn’t follow the same path as many countries that are on the news everyday where the overpowering governments are controlling the working masses. Also we may soon see that our media and internet subjects may soon just not be available as news anymore concerning any news that doesn’t follow the governments lead.     You just never no when the weather is going to turn against you do you. I guess I need to watch out for my armed postman too. You know they go postal allot these days! Oh sorry did I slip on that one! Now there going to have to have a psych eval. That’s allright were arming the milkman and the newspaper boy.

    I guess either the opposing weather men are going to duke it out using 40 cal! Or are they just going to shoot holes in the clouds so the water leaks out?
