Fast & Furious Gun Intended For Assassination

According to a government report released by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, a weapon was seized in Tijuana from a group that had intentions of assassinating the chief of police at the time, Julian Leyzaola. The weapon was seized on February 25th, 2010, with other weapons and arrests made. This is just one more incident among many that the Obama administration must be held accountable for.

Members of the criminal group led by Teodoro “El Teo” Garcia Simental and Raydel “El Muletas” Lopez Uriarte were arrested in early 2010 and the El Paso Times reported on August 6, 2012,

Tijuana police said they arrested four suspects in March 2010 in connection with a failed attempt to take out Julián Leyzaola, and that the suspects allegedly confessed to conspiring to assassinate the police chief on orders from Tijuana cartel leaders.
