You boaters out there no longer get a free lunch.

Up until now it has been an education effort but ignorance no longer is an acceptable excuse. If you show up at an Arizona lake with an invasive rider like zebra and quagga mussels attached to your boat or anchor you will be cited.

But these lake-destroying foreign invaders are just the tip of the iceberg. Here is a list of the top 10 invasive species threats to hunting and fishing. This list was put together by Wildlife Forever, a conservation group.

To conserve and defend our treasured fish and wildlife resources, it is vital all recreational users understand how invasive species will ultimately change America’s outdoor heritage.
