WACO, TX (WFAA)- Police say two goats were killed on the Magnolia Homes property in Waco featured on the HGTV television show “Fixer Upper.”
Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said Sunday that investigators are trying to determine who killed the livestock. Police believe one or more people entered the property sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning, when arriving employees found the dead goats. The grounds were closed at the time of the killing.
Swanton called the animal killings a “senseless act.” Charges could include animal cruelty.
The show “Fixer Upper” features husband-and-wife duo Chip and Joanna Gaines rehabbing old homes for clients.
Their Magnolia complex includes iconic silos and a market. Messages left with HGTV and representatives for Magnolia Homes weren’t immediately returned Sunday.
Who does this kind of thing? El Chupacabra- that’s who.
Whenever you hear about small animals, especially goats, being murdered around the South-Western United States or Mexico, you should never rule out El Chupacabra. Authorities say they are unsure who (or what) is responsible for killing the goats, but they are investigating all leads (including Chupacabras). There have been previous sightings in Waco of the infamous blood-sucking creature, and they are known to frequent that area. Not to mention, goats are El Chupacabra’s favorite prey.
Thanks to today’s “PC Culture” it’s not acceptable to point the finger at Chupacabras (even though their names literally mean “goat sucker”). I’m confident after thorough inspection of the bodies, and finding two small puncture wounds with no trace of blood in the animals, authorities will release a statement that it was indeed El Chupacabra.
What else could it have been?
