When your in the woods by yourself for extended periods of time, your mind can start playing tricks on you.
Whether an unfamiliar sound, or a swift motion out of the corner of your eye. Your brain starts assuming what it is (sasquatch, bengal tiger). Most of the time it’s nothing, but unfortunately for this turkey hunter, it was a grumpy bobcat.

Bobcats aren’t known for attacking humans, and usually keep their distance. Judging by the antagonistic predator calling by this hunter, he kind of had it coming.
Side note, this is probably the fourth or fifth video that’s come out in the past few years where bobcats charge at turkey hunters. I’ve come to the conclusion that it has something to do with the phone.
If you’re calling turkeys and using decoys, there is a high chance you may attract some predator attention. Usually they’ll scurry off after they spot you. All of the videos where bobcats charge, the hunters are holding their phones up recording their encounter.
So maybe going forward, if you see a bobcat and don’t want some nasty scratches, leave your phone in your pocket.
