According to Eric Furgeson, there’s a few things for all the tree huggers to consider:
1) Hogs are invasive feral animals. As such they do not belong in the environment they reside in. They are the product of animals that escaped from farms as long ago as the colonization of America began.
2) They destroy the area’s natural fauna thus depriving native wildlife of the food they need to survive. The term rooting is an accurate description of how they forage. They literally eat the plants to the ground the dig up the roots and eat them as well. mmm..
3) As well as destroying the native plants they also cause hundreds of thousands of dollars in crop damage every year. A herd the size of the one shown (in the cool VIDEO below) if left unchecked could easily quadruple in size in less than two years. The destruction caused by such a herd could easily destroy a small farm’s entire crop thus bankrupting the farmer involved. Then he’d have to get bailed out by Obama. Good luck.
… This guy runs Bartertown now, Tina.
Price of bacon plummeting as we speak..
I thought the latest installment of “The Road Warrior” sucked, by the way…
“Beyond ThunderDome” – a top ten. Winner.
If you don’t know what I’m referring to then get out. Really, just leave.
