Obama has the power to starve your family.

2nd Amend.

Obama has the power to starve your family.

Did you know that the President has the power to seize all food sources, livestock, property, farm equipment, and even to ration supplies and control all food resource facilities simply by signing a piece of paper?

In a declared state of emergency, which the President can authorize by Executive Order, the President has the power with the stroke of a pen to sign into force yet another Executive Order that rations your ability to obtain food; your right and ability to travel; your healthcare options.

Of course, we don’t know any President who has ever bypassed Congress to sign over 130 Executive Orders in less than two terms, do we?

You may or may not know about FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency). FEMA was created, not Constitutionally, but by act of –wow – an Executive Order (conceived in the Nixon era and refined by Carter) to manage the country and protect the government in the case of a disaster, either natural or manmade.

Though it may be the most powerful organization in the United States, FEMA runs virtually unnoticed and unchecked. In a state of declared national emergency (which can be called for hurricanes, riots, floods, etc.), FEMA has the power, among other things like seizing your private property, to bar your entry into any food resource facility by force.

We have seen the power of riots in history (Los Angeles riots of ’92, Kent State in the 70’s) and more recently, in urban areas during Occupy movements and in Ferguson, Missouri.

In one article, the police told urged caution to Ferguson bystanders: you are in the middle of a war zone, they said.

Untitled2Roadblocks, restricted travel, tear gas launchers, and armored military vehicles and armed-to-the-teeth paramilitary are not what you anticipate waking up to one day. How about an angry mob standing between your car and the grocery store door? Some people might be ready to throw rocks at your car simply because it is “nicer” than theirs.

How many everyday people just like you and me were bound to their homes for days, either by force or by fear during that upheaval?

Many of us own guns to protect ourselves, and our loved ones, from violent acts. Yet how many of us have the ability to survive for more than a few days on the food in our pantries?

In Nazi Germany, Himmler and Backe spearheaded the Hunger Plan: an economic scheme created to ensure that Germans were given priority of food supplies at the expense of non-German inhabitants and the inhabitants of German-occupied Soviet territories.

The fundamental premise behind the Hunger Plan was Germany was not able to be self-sufficient in sustaining their food supplies. It was an engineered famine; a created means of mass murder by starving those the government deemed less worthy of food. Millions died. Jews were prohibited from purchasing eggs, milk, butter, meat, or fruit. Rations were limited to 420 calories.

Perspective: The average American consumes 2,534 calories per day.

What if your local Dollar General was not even able to provide the milk and eggs you need to feed your family? What if you were battling 17th century torments like scurvy, due to lack of nutrition found in fruit and a nutritious diet?Untitled3

What if the gargantuan Walmart entrances were blockaded by machine-gun bearing military forces rationing your permissible calorie intake to 420 per day?

What if a natural disaster like Hurricane Sandy or an unexpected ice storm kept you from restocking your weekly grocery supplies? Something as simple as the ability to get clean water can become a luxury in a disaster situation.

We’ve all heard about (and most of us have probably watched) The Walking Dead. Have you noticed that it’s become more of a fight to find edible food and drinkable water than it is to avoid getting bitten by “walkers?” It’s because our world is based on convenience. We are used to being able to run to the store. Many of us can even walk to a spot where we can find food supplies. We are used to turning on the stove and heat happens. When the water faucet is turned on and nothing comes out, a quick call takes care of the problem.

What if there’s no one to call?

What if there’s no heat when you turn up the thermostat?

What if your car is out of gas and you have only a few beans left on the shelf?

Many of us own guns to protect ourselves, and our loved ones, from violent acts. Yet how many of us have the ability to survive for more than a few days on the food in our pantries?

How many of us will spend $50-100 at a restaurant on one meal yet hesitate to prepare for a week’s survival?

For just a few dollars per meal, you can rest assured that you are prepared for anything. With a shelf life of a decade plus, the Ultimate 72-Hour Emergency Kit is a great start. Not only does this kit work well as a Camper’s and Hunter’s friend, as it provides fire, water, and food in one convenient carry kit, it will keep 2 people sustained for 72-hours in the event of an emergency. It even includes water and fire capability. A family of 4 should purchase 2 kits. We’re talking about $11 per person per day to ensure you’re kept alive in a short-term emergency.

If you want to ensure you’re prepared for a bit longer than 72 hours, we recommend the accompanying 120-serving Fruit and Snack bucket and the 80-serving Gourmet Meat and Rice bucket. For just a few dollars per meal, you can rest assured that you and your loved ones will be taken care of, no matter what happens. If, God forbid, a Ferguson event or a state of rationing occurs for several weeks or months, you’ll be able to rest assured your family will have food enough to last, and the ability to have fire and water.

To be ultimately prepared for any disaster, manmade or natural, you’ll also want to keep the 5-Day Survival Backpack on hand; we recommend keeping one in each car! An emergency sleeping bag, rope, waterproof matches, lighting solutions, food bars, body warmers, and water purification tablets are just a few of the things you’ll find with the first aid and hygiene kits in this backpack. In the event you get caught in an unexpected blizzard or ice storm like we had happen in the South during early 2014, you won’t be caught for 9-18 hours in your car with no ability to get warmth or food!

Don’t be caught off-guard. Refuse to be a victim of natural disaster or of the aftermath of Executive Orders signed by a President wielding the power of his office. Rest in knowing you are prepared for anything.

Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Refuse to be a victim!
