In case you haven’t noticed already, the Second protects the First
The terrorist attack in Paris has become a talking point for the gun control debate. For some, France has given us the perfect example of the purpose of and necessity for firearms to be in the hands of law-abiding citizens. Perhaps speaking the loudest on this side of this argument in a recently released thunderous speech, the NRA’s Colion Noir has released a video that rips apart “anti-gunners” and “clueless talking heads.”
The video titled “How to Defend Free Speech” goes beyond the usual pro-gun talking points and argues how if even a portion of French citizens had guns, this story could have been remarkably different. Although France is usually hailed as the “utopia” the world would look like if guns were banned, Noir points out that unfortunately their ideals made them more vulnerable.
He kicked off his epic speech saying that he was astonished that two cowards walked around France, virtually without resistance, picking off whomever they wanted. He then pointed out that as people cowered around the city, they were actually in relatively decent vantage points, where, if they had guns, they would have been able to take out the terrorists with ease.
