It’s high past time Congress put Jarrett on the witness stand.
In the materials Judicial Watch received are summaries of emails related to the case. Included in those are emails between Jarrett and Holder dated October 4, the day after Attkisson proved Holder lied to Congress.
Unfortunately, Judicial Watch did not receive the emails themselves, just the summaries. One, from Jarrett to Holder, says, “re: personnel issues.” Another from Jarrett says, “outlining and discussing preferred course of action for future responses in light of recent development in congressional investigation.”
Without knowing the exact content of those emails it’s difficult to say much other than noting that Jarrett definitely had her fingers in the shaping of the Obama Administration’s evasive message on Fast and Furious.
That fact should not be a surprise to anyone who’s followed this White House, but it should outrage everyone that the shady, unelected figure of Jarrett is once again found to be standing behind the throne and pulling strings in some of the biggest scandals of this Administration.
